What are Personalized Children's Books?
Personalized Children’s Books are books that allow a child to become the main character in the story. These books encourage reading in a fun and educational way. Each Story features the child's name, age, hometown, a few friends or relatives and more! These details are then woven
throughout the story and a magical adventure begins.
What are Personalized Music CDs?
Personalized Music CDs are audio CDs that contain songs sung by popular characters. Your child’s name is said or sung by these characters throughout the CD nearly 30 times. A personal dedication is seen on the CD label. CDs include upbeat, waking up in the morning songs, to relaxing bedtime lullabies and everything in between.
How do I order?
1. Select the perfect book or music CD
2. Fill out the Personalized Information Form
3. Click the “Submit” button
4. Review information and complete the Billing Form if you have finished shopping, or click the “Continue Shopping” button to process another order.
What happens to the information I give?
All personal information supplied to us is kept confidential. We will not sell your name or email address to any parties.

How will I know my order has been received?
You will receive a confirmation email receipt stating the items purchased and the total cost of your order.
Can I change the information I already submitted?
We process our books rather quickly, therefore if you notice you need to change information already submitted, send us an email ASAP, (within 12-24 hours), and we will do our best to accommodate those changes. Please remember to provide your contact information, order information and the changes you would like made.
What are your ordering processing times?
Orders placed will be processed and shipped out within 5 business days. Most times, orders will be processed much sooner as we strive to ship orders within 2 business days.
Can I send my order by mail?
We accept orders by mail. Send your completed order form and check or money order to:

Can I phone in my order?
While we encourage orders to be made electronically over the Internet to avoid mistakes made over the phone, we will accommodate phone orders. Call 925-642-3833 to order.
I am ordering for more than one child. Can I use the same order form for all of them?
Because each book is personalized and unique, you must use a different order form for each book you wish to order.
Can I put more than one child's name in a book or CD?
No. Each book highlights only one main character. You may include friends or relatives when filling out the personalized information form, but they will not be mentioned in the book as often as the main character.
Do you offer insurance?
You may opt to purchase insurance through the US Post Office by selecting the insurance option on the order form.
Do you accept international orders?
No, we do not accept international orders. We only ship within the USA.
Can I see the actual layout of the books?
All of our books have a link that says, “read this book” next to them. Once you click that link, you will be directed to a page that either shows the actual layout of that book, (text and illustrations, or text only). It is important to us that you are able to view and read a virtual book online before purchase.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, payments made through PayPal, money orders and personal checks. All payments must be made in US Funds only and payment must be received in full before books will be mailed. There is a $25 service charge on all returned checks.
I am getting an error when entering my credit card information.
Possible solutions include:
1. Re-enter the credit card number and expiration date.
2. Enter the exact address the credit card bill is sent to.
3. Enter the correct security pin code. This code is the last 3 numbers on the back of your card next to the signature strip.
What is PayPal and how secure is it?
PayPal is a secure online payment service commonly used by many online businesses. It is a well known trusted site that safely collects money from its customers. One of the largest users of PayPal is eBay which processes numerous orders from millions of its members daily. It is a free service to you, the buyer, and all major credit cards are accepted or you may opt to pay directly out of your checking or savings account.
Am I required to pay sales tax?
You are only required to pay sales tax if you are shipping an item to California. The sales tax is 9.25% and you are required to check that you are shipping your item to California on the order form. If shipping to any other state than California, you will not be required to pay sales tax.
What are your shipping policies?
You may choose to ship your product(s) priority or express mail through the US Postal Service. Priority mail starts at $6.00 and generally takes 2-3 business days. Express mail starts at $18.00 and generally takes 1-2 business days. You will be able to select the specific shipping service you desire and obtain exact shipping rate information on the order form.
What are your return policies?
Because we are selling personalized products made specific to your customizations, no returns are permitted without prior permission obtained from Personalized Books and Keepsakes.
There is an error in the personalization of my book. Can I get a replacement?
While we make every possible effort to provide you with the highest quality in our products, errors occasionally do occur. If the error is due to our mistake, we will gladly remedy the situation by fixing or replacing the book and sending it to you at no additional cost. If the error is due to a mistake you have made by giving us the incorrect information required, we will not be responsible for providing you with replacement books. We will however, provide you with a discount which may be used towards purchasing new books.
How do I redeem my Gift Certificate?
1. Go to www.pbkeepsakes.com and select the personalized book or CD you desire.
2. Complete the personalized information order form and click the
“Submit” button.
3. At checkout, enter the number on your gift certificate in the voucher box.
How often will the "nick name" be used in the book?
Nick names will be substituted for actual names and used throughout the book. Therefore it is recommended that you only provide a nick name if your child is commonly known by that name.
Can I get a brochure or catalog sent to my home?
Email us at info@pbkeepsakes.com or call us at 925-642-3833 and we would be happy to send a catalog to you. However, our catalogs do not showcase all of the products we sell. The catalogs also do not provide “virtual books”, (text and illustration), or audio music samples.
I don't see my child's name in the CD name list.
If you are unable to find the exact spelling of your child’s name, possible solutions include:
1. Look for a phonetic match
2. Check different spelling possibilities, (Christy or Kristi)
3. Check for the name on a different CD as each CD has a different list of names available.
I don't spell my child's name the same way it is in the CD name list.
It is okay if your child’s name is spelled differently than it is in the CD name list as we will be able to spell the name the way you would like.
My Child's Name is pronounced differently than the normal way. Can I still order a CD?
If your name can be pronounced in different ways, it is important you give us the correct phonetic spelling of the name to ensure the name is sung correctly. If you did not fill out the pronunciation field and give us the correct phonetic spelling of your child’s name and the name is pronounced incorrectly on your CD, we will not be responsible for your error. We will however, provide you with a discount which may be used towards purchasing CDs.
