Greetings and a warm welcome to you from Personalized Books and Keepsakes!   

Personalized Books and Keepsakes is a small, family-owned business operated out of the San Francisco Bay Area in California run by myself and my family.  I obtained a B.A. in Psychology, CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and M.A. in Education.  As a former elementary school teacher, I taught young children how to read and introduced older children to new and exciting reading material.  

I believe children learn best when they are presented with interesting and motivating material.  Numerous times, I have seen a child’s mind become open, eager and excited to learn when the information presented to them had been made personal.  That was one of the reasons I chose to start this business.

As a young child, I received a personalized book as a gift from my mother.  I remember the joy and excitement this book brought to me and feeling unique and special because of it.  (And yes, I still have the book today!)  For this reason, I chose to highlight the phrase “As Unique As Your Child” on this website.

For what greater gift can I give to a child, than to make him/her feel unique and special?  

I reside with my supportive husband and adorable toddler son in the San Francisco Bay area.  I understand that children learn best from their first teacher, their primary and most important teacher, their parent.  This livelihood allows me the opportunity to work from home while teaching to and spending time with my son.
